Fly engraving

This fly, and many other flies and many other dreams and many other nights and many other failures have haunted me these past few years, here as I used this block to patiently reduce the variables of printing from manipulating the consistency of ink, hardness of brayers, paper, packing, dry or damp, lineoscribe or showcard, attempting etching press chase, designing for debossing and on and on and on and on. And after nearly two years of fussing with this process, I feel like I finally have this all worked out. After nearly two years I have just this simple delicate fly. It is a simple image though inherently connected to larger efforts and more maddening projects. Its simplicity may not be particularly interesting from the outside, though I have tried my best to make this available affordably, and consider each one essentially a token of support on the eventual finalizing of the broader peripheral projects hindered by money and time - as one tends always to devour the other.
I printed a decidedly large edition of 333. Available here for 13.33 as a loose print or 20.00 with a mat and backing, sized perfectly for any 8x10 frame. Thankyou always.
